The Cleft Palate Craniofacial Journal is an influential academic journal in the field of craniofacial deformities. As a peer-reviewed interdisciplinary international journal, it focuses on reporting the latest research results in the etiology, epidemiology, prevention, diagnosis and treatment of craniofacial deformities, especially cleft palate. The core goal of the journal is to promote academic exchange and collaboration between different professional fields such as oral and maxillofacial surgery, plastic surgery, otolaryngology, genetics, developmental biology, psychology, and public health.

The journal publishes a variety of research types, including basic science research, clinical trials, epidemiological studies, case reports, literature reviews, and technological innovations. These studies not only help to reveal the pathogenesis and pathological features of cleft palate and craniofacial malformations, but also provide a scientific basis for the development and evaluation of new diagnostic tools and treatments.
