With the deepening of globalization and the rapid advancement of information technology, electronic adoption as a new form of adoption is gradually receiving attention. It not only simplifies the cumbersome procedures in the traditional adoption process, improves adoption efficiency, but also provides adoption opportunities for more willing and capable families. However, electronic adoption also faces multiple challenges such as legal regulation, information security, cultural differences, and protection of children's rights. The International Journal of Electronic Adoption has emerged, aiming to gather experts, scholars, policy makers, practitioners, and people from all walks of life who are concerned about this issue from around the world to jointly explore the current situation, problems, challenges, and prospects of electronic adoption, and contribute wisdom and strength to promote the healthy development of electronic adoption.
