The Journal of Structural Integrity and Maintenance may refer to academic publications focused on research and applications in the field of structural integrity. Structural integrity is an emerging interdisciplinary field that is based on physics, mechanics, mathematics, chemistry, electronic information, materials and engineering sciences. It studies the load-bearing capacity, lifespan, and reliability of structures of different scales in complex environments and loads. This field is committed to establishing and optimizing safety evaluation standards and regulations for the entire life cycle of products, serving engineering fields such as aviation, aerospace, navigation, energy, chemical, metallurgical, environmental, civil engineering, and microelectronics manufacturing.

In recent years, driven by the demand for long lifespan and high reliability in the design and manufacturing of structures or components, structural integrity has entered a new era. Its function involves multiple aspects such as materials, design, manufacturing, and maintenance, and requires full support from precision technology, including high-precision material selection, reliable design, reliable manufacturing, and maintenance dedicated to reliability recovery. In this context, the China Structural Integrity Alliance organized an international academic symposium on structural integrity, providing a platform for the exchange of structural integrity theory and technology, exploring international academic frontiers, and promoting collaborative research.
