This journal publishes original peer-reviewed research in the fields of engineering and physical sciences, covering materials such as polymers, metals, ceramics, biomaterials, composite materials, and advanced structural materials, as well as multi-scale, multidisciplinary, and multidisciplinary approaches to complex engineering and physical systems.

The journal content includes analytical, numerical, and/or experimental papers that report interdisciplinary or multidisciplinary approaches, or provide solutions by bridging different spatial and/or temporal scales.
