Settler Colonial Studies is an international academic journal dedicated to settled colonialism and its impact on contemporary society. This magazine provides a forum for exploring the history, theory, practice, and long-term impact of settled colonialism on indigenous communities and the environment. The journal covers multiple disciplines, including history, political science, sociology, cultural studies, and environmental studies, with the aim of promoting interdisciplinary dialogue and deepening understanding of the complexity of colonialism.

The types of articles published in magazines are diverse, including original research papers, theoretical analysis, case studies, book reviews, and dialogues. These articles not only focus on traditional colonial cases of settlement, such as North America, Australia, and South Africa, but also extend to emerging and less studied fields, such as Latin America, Asia, and the Pacific island regions. Through these studies, the journal reveals the persistence and transformative nature of settled colonialism on a global scale, as well as various strategies for resistance and decolonization. One of the distinctive features of this magazine is its emphasis on indigenous voices and knowledge systems, encouraging indigenous scholars to participate in academic discussions to challenge mainstream narratives and provide theoretical support for indigenous communities' self-determination and sovereignty. In addition, it also focuses on the intertwined relationship between settled colonialism and globalization, climate change, and other pressing global issues.
